I’ve just started posting on Tumblr, here: shorterdispositio.tumblr.com
This new micro-blog, dispositio’s little sibling, will largely consist of trailers and photos from contemporary productions of classical plays. Possibly, I’ll write the odd very short post, but the bulk of what I have to say will still appear on here — the tumblr is really supposed to be Dispositio’s Inventio, or at best its — my — visual commonplace book.
As a start, I’ve posted over 30 clips from international productions of Schiller’s Maria Stuart, currently wowing critics and audiences at the Stratford Festival. I’m sure I’ll have things to say about that show, and about the relationship between it and the versions sketched in those clips, once I make my way to Stratford this summer — sometime in August.
